picture update

I have finally finished adding the captions to the pictures for our trip to Turkey and Greece. You can find all of the pictures on the picassa site.
I had to post this picture separately because it's such a great picture and my dad actually has his eyes open (as some of you know, this is a rare occurrence).
I want to thank my parents again. We had an absolutely wonderful time on the trip. Thank you.

Here are a few funny things that were overheard on our trip ... I'm leaving them unattributed, but most of them belong to one person who was the self-proclaimed provider of comic relief.

1. "How do you know when something happens?"
2. "I lost it (a contact lens) but I know exactly where it is."
3. Person A: "Have you unpacked your bag?"
Person B: "Yes, except for the things I haven't unpacked yet."
4. (Talking about possible graduate schools, specifically UW)
Person A: "You know, that's a long way from here."
Person B: "They're all a long way from here." (we were in Athens at the time)
5. "I can smell your anise. Oh, wait, that didn't come out right." (This was while someone was drinking some ouzo.)
6. "I could eat." (This was heard many, many times as the answer to whether a certain person was hungry. He quite enjoyed the all-you-can-eat aspect of the trip.)
