My Thursday night students (Matthew and Daniela) who cook for me invited Jason and me over last night for dinner and Christmas cookies. Daniela had made at least 27 different kinds of Christmas cookies and she insisted that we try at least one of each kind. Jason was happy to oblige. Many of her recipes are old family ones and Czech traditions and they are delicious. She's promised to share some of the recipes with me so that I can make them in the future. What a treat!
