how bizarre

I was riding the metro to one of my morning classes this week, and I saw a woman wearing blue suede shoes! I looked down and then did a double-take and, sure enough, her shoes were bright blue suede. I then had Elvis stuck in my head for the rest of the day. When I told Jason about it later, he asked, "Did you step on them?" -- and he says that he's never silly.

Later that same day I was walking through the plaza near our school and I saw what appeared to be statues of dinosaurs. As I got closer I saw that they were in fact dinosaurs and that they were constructed entirely out of computer pieces. It was very interesting and very strange, and I wished that I had my camera with me. One of my friends said that her students told her about it and that the dinosaurs are actually for sale. I can't imagine that someone would by an 8-foot-tall statue of a dinosaur made of computer pieces. Where would you put such a thing?

When you're walking around Prague you just never know what you're going to see.
