Nemluvim Cesky

We started Czech lessons today through the Caledonian School. The school provides the lessons free for teachers. It will be good, because although we have picked up a few words and phrases just from being here, I think to actually become conversant and able to talk to people we need help.
The first lesson was good, it was a little review from the few Czech lessons we've already had, but gave us a structure. It was a little worrisome that our teacher told us that we're going to try to get through six months' worth of materials in six weeks, so we'll be caught up when classes start again in September. Hopefully we'll be able to keep up.
