Blizzard!
I wasn't expecting the snow to be in Prague too, since it's common for it to snow in the regions outside the city and not necessarily in the city. Jason and I were both a little surprised at the amount of snow in Prague itself. In fact, now almost a week later there are still leftover piles of it along the sidewalks, though it's probably about 75 percent melted.
It has made for an interesting week for me, as this is really the first time I've had to do a lot of snow/ice walking. I'm really not good at it and I slip and slide all over the place, though I've yet to actually fall over -- which I consider a major accomplishment on my part. Jason and I went running on Sunday morning and I was completely unprepared for that! Jason had told me to go slow, so I thought "ok, good, this will be easier because I can go slower." What he didn't tell me was that running in the snow is a lot harder work on your legs. I was exhausted.
I've included a picture of our snow-covered street when we got home on Sunday afternoon and Jason preparing for a snowball fight.
