our flat

Here is a picture of the outside of our building. We are in the first building on the left. Our flat is on the fifth (but to us Americans the sixth) floor. (The first floor is the ground floor, not the first floor.)
If you can see the balcony with the satellite dish, go over one balcony to the right and that is our balcony.
There are about 25 of these block-style buildings all grouped together in our neighborhood. If you want to look us up on a Prague map, we are in the Velka Ohrada area. Pull up a map of the Prague metro system and look at the southwest end of the yellow line. We get off the metro at the Nove Butovice station, but then we have to take a bus to Velka Ohrada. We are actually closer to the Luziny metro stop but the bus doesn't run to that station.
The school is very close to the Andel stop on the yellow line. So our commute is fairly short, even though we have to change from the bus to the metro. It only takes us about 20 minutes to get to the school in the mornings.
